Introducing SR61B Bluetooth Connections

You can use Bluetooth radio communications to connect up to seven

SR61B scanners to the following devices:

• Intermec computers that are Bluetooth-enabled

• Intermec SD61 Base Station

• Other Bluetooth-enabled devices that support Serial Port Profile

(SPP) or Human Interface Device Profile (HID)

The SR61B can also be connected as a keyboard wedge to a Bluetooth-

enabled host PC via an Intermec software, SmartWedgeLite™.

Before connecting the SR61B to a host device, note the Bluetooth

address for the:

• Host Bluetooth device

• SR61B

SR61B Bluetooth Address: The SR61B Bluetooth address is located on the

scanner label.

To connect to a host device, you may need to install EasySet, the

Intermec configuration application that allows you to change settings

on the SR61B. For the SR61B, you need EasySet version 5.6.5.3 or

later. You can download EasySet at no charge from the Intermec web

site at www.intermec.com.
